On an annual basis, the Spanish National Brain Metastasis Network (RENACER) invites all members of the network, and all those agents interested in brain metastasis, to this meeting point to learn about the findings and new advances that are being developed in this field.
The Assembly is an opportunity to show how RENACER is making efforts to improve the knowledge and clinical management of brain metastasis, encouraging medical professionals, researchers and patients to participate in these advances. To this end, the aim of this conference is to make the results of the project visible to a wide public, raising awareness of the great benefits and opportunities of more precise pathways for the treatment of brain metastases.
Taking advantage of the fact that this year’s meeting is being held jointly with GEINO Congress, the Spanish Neuro-oncology Research Group, we will have the opportunity to establish valuable connections with professionals and organizations, mobilizing new hospitals, departments, professionals, specialists, as well as new profiles (researchers, surgeons, hospital managers, radiation oncologists, patients, etc.), similar to RENACER’s mission, further enriching the commitment and joint vision of the network’s members.
During the celebration of this meeting, which will take place on October 23rd, we will have the participation of distinguished speakers who will share their knowledge and experiences. On this occasion, there will be guests such as Dr. Sanne Schagen, a reference in the study of the impact of cancer treatments and brain tumors on the cognitive function of the CNS, and Dr. Alfonso Valencia, whose work as a computational biologist stands out for the combination of bioinformatics, network biology and machine learning approaches.
